DESCRIPTION
Inspired by bluegrass, folk and rock, the Dijon-based Tony D. & The Old Jim's feature Anthony "Tony D." Doiret (guitar, dobro, harmonica, vocals), Laurent "Wolver Jim" Decornoy (banjo, bass drum, vocals), Marven "Hairy Jim" Osta (bass, vocals) and Jérôme "Jerry Jim" Séquin (guitar, mandolin, vocals).
Using atypical instruments in France and singing lead or backup vocals, Tony D. & The Old Jim's play Americana, Bluegrass and Old Time standards, but also original songs composed by Anthony Doiret, with a bit of rock spirit and a lot of energy. The foursome started playing together in 2010, started playing shows on june 2011, leading to their first self-titled debut album on october 2012.

BIOGRAPHy
Anthony has been active in several rock bands from the local scene (Mr. Hector, Black Muffin), and is at the origin of this project in the Americana style.
Jerome and Anthony began working on the project in July 2010, Marven joined them in the last quarter of 2010. In February 2011, Laurent (Lolo and Lolotte) finally joined and completed the band.
The first concert took place in summer 2011 and was followed by a series of performances that lead the band on their Côte-d'Or land but also in Saône-et-Loire, Jura, Haute-Saône, Ain and Haute-Savoie.
After working on the musical arrangements and a major studio phase, the first self-titled album was released on the 29th of october 2012.
